Well, I wanna fall all the way down To see everything from the bottom. What a refreshing perspective! Shedding new light on old problems. I wanna fall into orbit, To see everything from a distance. The clarity from here is deafening! Now watch me react with indifference. I feel absolutely nothing beyond what is encouraged. I see absolutely nothing besides what is going on. A transformation has begun and nothing can reverse it. The world was in my pocket, but I looked and it was... I wanna sink all the way down To see ships passing above me. To dig in the sand with the groupers, Or feast with the sharks would be lovely! I wanna sink into coma to slip to a different dimension Exist somewhere an amoeba Unaware of my own reflection. I know absolutely nothing but the fact that I know nothing And I believe in nothing except for what I see. And what I see and what I feel I have a fucking hard time trusting. So I firmly admit that I'm not certain of a thing. Staring critically at yourself from across the room, Analyzing your actions from the doorway. Always wondering if your real intent is cutting through The thick layer of personas that you portray, Well, pull off your head and hold it at arms length; You'll be alarmed when it tells you what it sees. And that's only the beginning of discovering your own strength. In times of peril, some will fall to their knees, But I wanna fall all the way down To see everything from the bottom.

I confess, I may be somewhat of a mess As the stench from my cigarette will surely attest And I admit, I may be struggling to live As the pillow calls my name, and I endlessly give in to it But what do you know? You condescend upon me with your heavenly glow, but it's a lie. If your shoes were laced up like mine, You'd be hard pressed to find a way home. So go spit out the words you've been spoon-fed since birth And then wash out your mouth with a handful of dirt It's for you to decide how you waste all your time, But while you're chasing faeries. don't complain about how I waste... Is this all that the years have to show? Just the corpse of a friend left to rot in the snow? And I'm sick of just struggling to live You should try it sometime simply for all the kicks and the grins! But what do I know? I'm just a two-wheel disaster, a stick in the spokes But it's a lie! If your bike was chained up like mine, I'd implore you to find a way home. You can look down on me all you want, But don't expect me to lift my eyes up. You can shake your fist at me from inside the lines of a page, Oh how manly, how brave! So go spit out the words you've been spoon-fed since birth And then wash out your mouth with a handful of dirt It's for you to decide how you're gonna wast your whole life But while you're chasing faeries. Don't complain about how I waste mine.
